For podcasters, newsletter writers and the agencies that sell their ads

Find the brands that already sponsor content like yours.

SponsorHound is a tool for your AI agent. Describe your show or newsletter, and your agent gets a ranked list of brands that advertise on similar ones, with the evidence: dated, public ad reads, each with a short quote and a link.

Private beta: free for a small group of design partners. Works with Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code and other MCP clients.

Ask in plain words

Your agent calls SponsorHound over the Model Context Protocol (MCP). You don't learn a new app: ask your assistant the way you'd ask a colleague, then have it draft the pitch.

  • "Which brands would sponsor my weekly running podcast? Show the evidence for the top 5."
  • "Who advertises on newsletters like mine about AI tools for accountants? Skip anyone inactive since August."
  • "Find 10 podcasts similar to mine and tell me who advertises on them."

What your agent gets

Ranked brands, with reasons

Brands that advertise on shows like yours, ranked by how similar those shows are, how often the brand appears and how recently.

Evidence you can check

Every brand comes with dated sponsor reads: a short quote (240 characters at most) and a link to the public episode or post it came from.

Similar shows

Podcasts and newsletters close to yours, with their top sponsors, so you can see who your peers work with.

Freshness on every answer

Each answer says how current the data is. The catalog is refreshed about weekly from public feeds.

How the beta works

  1. Request access. Sign up with Google or your email. We open accounts in small batches for design partners.
  2. Create an API key in your dashboard. It is shown once; you can rotate or revoke it at any time.
  3. Connect your agent with one command (Claude Code) or a short config block (Claude Desktop, Cursor, VS Code, Windsurf). See the setup docs.
  4. Ask, and tell us what's wrong. The beta's goal is to learn whether the top recommendations are plausible. Bad results are useful feedback.

What it isn't. An ad read shows that a brand advertised on a show on a date. It doesn't prove payment, budget, rates or that the brand is taking new deals. SponsorHound has no audience numbers, prices or contact details. Read what the data is and isn't.

Questions

Where does the data come from?

Only public podcast and newsletter RSS feeds that allow automated access in their robots.txt. No YouTube data, no private, paywalled or logged-in content. Sponsor mentions are extracted from the feed text by rules.

Which AI assistants work?

Any MCP client that can send a custom header to a remote (Streamable HTTP) server: Claude Code, Claude Desktop (through the mcp-remote bridge), Cursor, VS Code, Windsurf and others. Web connectors that require OAuth, such as claude.ai and ChatGPT, aren't supported in the beta yet.

What does it cost?

Nothing during the private beta. See pricing for the plans we expect to offer afterwards.

My brand or show is listed and I'd like it removed.

See opt-out and removal. Removals apply at the next weekly refresh.
